This song is sung by a Thai singer, Pan Tanapond. It reminds me of our lives and also reminds me of my husband's love and what he has turned my life into. It is beyond any explanation how I feel so thankful to my husband.
I don't know if I could translate and make it sounds as sweet as it is in Thai or if it’s going to make sense. But I do my best and I hope you get the overall meaning of it.
Two souls..one heart..
I was like a little boat in the big stormy ocean without the navigator.
I was like a little bird flying through the heavy rain, nowhere to hang on and rest.
But then I found you, I found my will.
The little boat found the way to head to the destination
The little lost bird found the place in your heart to rest.
You have all my love…
The lonely journeys had ended.
From today on, our souls ,hearts become one…and build the life together
I will love you every minute in my life and walk side by side with you…
I had never thought in my life I would become important and be loved.
But I know and understand what true love is..when I love you.
You are my wonderful dream that come true…
I give you my promise to love you and all for you.
I will love you, love you.. two souls… one heart…

I love you til the end
by Pogues
I just want to see you
When youre all alone
I just want to catch you if I can
I just want to be there
When the morning light explodes
On your face it radiates
I cant escape
I love you till the end
I just want to tell you nothing
You dont want to hear
All I want is for you to say
Why dont you just take me
Where Ive never been before
I know you want to hear me
Catch my breath
I love you till the end
I just want to be there
When were caught in the rain
I just want to see you laugh not cry
I just want to feel you
When the night puts on its cloak
Im lost for words dont tell me
All I can say
I love you till the end

Feb 3rd,2009…..Houston, Houston…
Just wanted to add a quick update here, I am currently in Houston, Texas. My husband happens to do this work rotation in Houston for a month. I don’t have any picture to update but believe me you will see some soon..
Houston reminds me of Bangkok. It is one of the huge cities in The States. Yep, lots of highways, freeways, cars etc. But one good thing about the big city is the food. There are varieties of local food, seafood and even international food. (I am grinning thinking about food!)
Last night, I asked my husband to take me to a Thai Restaurant. We went to a Thai buffet place..LOL..It was my first time to go to A THAI BUFFET! The food there was great and couldn’t beat the price :D I did pig myselt (again..lol) It was great to be able to eat some Thai food, listen to Thai music and actually get a chance to speak Thai..LOL..
There were not too many Thai people there though. Oh, the waiter knew I was Thai because he could read the tattoo on my husband arm, saying my name in Thai Language.
Well, that’s all for now. I am thinking about going out to get some stuff for everyday use. But first of all, I have to remember the address of the hotel ! I don’t want to be lost in the big city like this!
Later,
Jan 23 09…..SNOW DAY!
IT SNOWED!!!!!! LOL.. I know some of you would think it ‘s just snow, nothing that too excited…lol.. Well, where I live Snow doesn’t often happen…beside I love snow! My husband told me Winnsboro did get snow sometimes in the winter but not always. I think it snows just to welcome me to Winnsboro! Of course, it didn’t last long. Snow went away just by the sunset.
The night before snow, Chris set the alarm for early morning so we could enjoin the snow. It was cold but we were so looking forward to the snow, we all woke up early in the morning of Jan 19th, 2009
The girls next door started to come out and played snow ball. The snow wasn’t that thick but it was enough to make some snow ball to throw at each other. Kenny started it first..LOL.. He went out and got a little fit size of snow and threw it into me..LOL.. I graped my coat, cloves and put the shoes on ,went outside and made snow balls threw back to him.. Chris came out after me just a minute later..And Kenny had snow all over him.. It was fun
We had snow balls battle for a bit and then Chris had a brilliant idea to catch the snow..lol.. We all got in the car and heading to where we thought it had more snow. But it didn’t seem to have much snow after we drove to Chester . Well, we decided to come home and watched the snow falling from the window ,ate, and watched some movies at home.. It was a good time :D
In the afternoon, three of us were laying on the couch and watched TV(yes, we managed to fit three of us in there and be comfortable!) And we fell asleep..LOL.. It was funny we almost got up pass the time we had to take Kenny back..LOL
After we dropped Kenny off, we decided it to go to Golden Corral. Yep, as usually we pigged ourselves again! I ate like two pieces of steaks..I knew I would complain about the weigh later..LOL.. After we got home, we were so sleepy. So we called it a night and went to bed :D
Some of the pictures I took on the snow day

Jan 6 ,2009…Camping and New Year count down
The New Year came after X’mas very quick! We didn’t have any plan for New Year but then a friends of Chris emailed us about camping..Oh yeah, we both love camping. It was too bad that Kenny couldn’t go with us.
Chris took care of the stuff we needed to take for camping with a little of my help. I was the chef so I had to prepare stuff I wanted to cook at the camp site. I brought stuff to make Laab, sticky rice, Pad Thai, Tom Yum and omelets..lol..
We had to take Kenny to his mother before we headed out to the camp site. It took us nearly two hours to get to Table Rock ( of course we lost a bit..lol..) When we got to the camp site, Robert was there already with his bus.
Again, Chris took care of setting up the tent and stuff and Robert helped him a bit. Me?? I was the princess..lol.. I was only sit and watched.. It was cold!
The first night was the new year eve, we had fire going pretty good. I cooked, we ate and of course we had some good wine with us..LOL..couldn’t miss that part!. At mid night, there was some one at the camp site doing the count down and teens jumped out the trailers/RVs shouting “Happy New Year!”
It was the first time, that Chris and I had spent the New Year together. I was so happy to be able to say “Happy New Year honey” in person to him. The temperature was so cold but my heart was so warm because of I had my husband next to me..
The next morning, New Year , we woke up pretty late. We ate and then drove to the store to get some firewood and checked out some hot dogs. It was a “must” that was what my husband told me.
The New Year night, we didn’t do anything much..just sat and talked and had the fire going…. But no wine tonight. We went to bed pretty early because Robert had to go to work in the morning..
The next morning, it rained!!!! We had to get up and packed everything back in the car. Before we planned spending a few nights at other camp sites, but the rain kinda ruined the plan! We went to a town and got some breakfast. After that we decided to check on Blue Rigde Parkway. Unfortunately, it was closed because of the bad weather. We didn’t know what to do ..LOL..So we kept driving and visiting the towns or places along the road..LOL.. It was actually fun! The only complain was it was too many curves! Yeah, that made me car sick a bit. But I felt better after a while though.
Chris took me to see Cherekee. We stopped there and walked from stores to stores..LOL..We wasn’t sure if we should stay over night somewhere or just head home though. But after a while, we decided to drive home. One the way home, we stopped at a steak house, I didn’t remember the name…but they did have some good steak there!!!
It took us around three hours to get home, we got home around nine at night. We were so tired and didn’t feel like taking stuff out of the car..lol.. We cleaned and then watched TV a bit before we went to bed.
I liked this trip a lot though. I got to see some good stuff ,ate some good food, and more importantly I had my husband with me all the time..
Here are some pictures from the camping

Visiting the zoo
Here is the update. After Chris came back from Houston for a few days, he took me to the zoo in the city. It was a very cool place. Actually, a day before that , he took me to see the outside part of it though. The zoo was on the bank of the river and there were cataracts everywhere! The water looked so nice to jump into but it was cold. You don’t want to jump in there…lol.. The name of the zoo was The River Bank Zoo. Hmm..it reminded me of Khao Din, the zoo in Bangkok though. But this one was nice and more space.
Lets look at some animals!

Flamingos, I liked theirs color

African Elephant, skinny looking..lol..

Mr. Huge Gorilla..

Sea Lion

Grizzly Bear, when it wasn’t too hungry!

Tiger

Rabbits

The ostrich

What a beautiful smile!

Nemo!

Weird looking fish..

Smiley faces looking at food in front of them…

Poison frog..

Dangerous beautiful little thing!
After the day we went to the zoo, Chris and Kenny took me to the zoon again. But this time was at night when the zoon had “ the lights before X’mas” It was very pretty though. Too bad, I forgot my camera. It was so cold and I had the coats on like a little Eskimo …LOL…
On one funny note though, Chris was charged the fee for all of us as ONE ADULT and TWO CHILD!
De 9,2009…Our home, Xmas tree!
It has been a few days that I haven’t updated anything on the blog here. The days have been the same, some busy and some nothing to do..LOL.
A little update on the house, I got all the furniture for every room in the house, completely. It was so nice to have the house look so occupied with all the furniture and it looked so cozy like the way we wanted it to be… I love our house!
Chris came back from Iraq already. But we only had one week together before he had to go to the orientation in Houston for a few days.
Lets say , I have everything in the house. I just don’t mean all the furniture but I mean the family. I have my family at the same place in the same house. It’s priceless to me..
The first week Chris was home, we were a little busy. But I was so nice to just see him in the house and relax.
Last weekend, we had Kenny at home for the first time. He seemed to like the house. We went to pick him up from school on Friday and then we went to shop for the Xmas decorations and Xmas tree. It was the first tree for the house. We got a big tree!
When we got home, Kenny seemed to have much fun with being the fire master..LOL Of course ,he helped us on the tree decoration also.
Our Xmas tree!

Done!

The morning after the tree decorating night, I was going to show Kenny our basement. When I opened the door, I was so shock! The basement was flooded! It rained a lot a couple days before and the sub pump decided not to work! We pumped the water out all day long and had to wait for two days before we could call anyone to come to look at it since it was weekend. I was pretty stress big time because the brand new water heater was down there! I didn’t feel like I wanted to buy another brand new one again!
I was so relieved when the plumber came to the house and finally can fix it.
A nice picture of a foggy day.

P.S one of my friends said the weather in the picture looked like a “snuggle” day..LOL
See ya!!

A little but big thing.....
LOL...with the subject, you might wonder what the hack I am talking about.. Well, I will tell you about it later. For now let talked about what I have done today..
I was in bed for most of the day..hahaha...it was cold outside and I didn't have anything else to do beside talking to my husband on the IM.
But I got the an email from mama saying if we could go eat sometimes today. So I called back them back. First we would make it for tomorrow, but then Eddie called back and said we would go eat today.. Sounded like a plan to me..hehe.. Oh, we were going to eat at the chinese buffet we liked..again..LOL
I was hungry on the way to the restuarant..and it seemed like the road was farter than usual..LOL.. we got to the restaurant and.....IT WAS CRAB LEGS NIGHT!!!! Yep, I was excited about that as you can see from my tone..haha.. We had fun getting the meat out of the crab legs. I tought mama how to do it also and she seemed to have fun and enjoyed it.. It was so good and the legs were big...make me drool again just to think about that...LOL
Ok, now back to the subject, the little but big thing.. It means an small object that has more value way more than its size. On the way home after we left from eating, Mama had me tried on two of her rings. They fit me well. Mama asked which one I liked the most. I told her which one..and then she said " Then it's yours honey"

It was undescribable feeling when she said it and gave the ring to me. It means a lot to me more than I can say. She gave it to me from her heart and wanted me to have it. Anything from the heart, even it's small , but to me it's always going to be big and priceless.. I would like to thank Mama. She is very kind to me..Thank you Mama

Winnsboro Park
19 Nov
I stayed home today and nothing much to do. The gang came to lunch and I cook Pad Cee Ew for them.
My husband was busy with the company situation that really pissed me off every time I thought about it.
Anyway, after the gang left , I talked to my husband a bit and then he had to go to bed. Then I made some spicy noodle mixed salad for myself. It was really good..LOL..
After that I went to the park not far from our house. I took the bike there. I meant to do down there for a while but hadn’t had time to do that. But today, I made it and got to take some pictures there.
My buddy

Walk way down to the park

Spring

Flower in the cold

Up in the sky

Trees in the park

Leaves and red berry ( I didn’t know what it was)

Ducks

The sun was about to go down to the horizon and it was getting cold. Yep, then I knew it was time to go home..LOL.. I managed to stop by at the front of my neighbor’s house and took the pictures of the leaves on their trees.

I got into the house and headed to the hot bath.. LOL.. I didn’t want to think about the water and the gas bill and also the power bill of this month…LOL
